Meet The Founder
With over a decade of hands-on experience, Xing Juen is a seasoned sustainability and strategy advisor known for her pragmatic approach. Her expertise spans across sustainability strategy & implementation, impact measurement, decarbonisation, and sustainable investments. Having previously played a pivotal role in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)‘s Southeast Asian sustainability consulting team, she now serves as a Senior Advisor, lending her insights to drive impactful change. Xing Juen’s consultancy extends beyond corporate realms, as she passionately supports startups, SMEs, and social enterprises in areas such as renewables, carbon management, and community development, making sustainability accessible and actionable for all. In line with her commitment to sustainability, she was part of the founding team of Skye Renewables, a solar asset developer and owner across Southeast Asia.
She holds a BA in Economics & Politics from the University of Manchester, UK, and a MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.
Selected experience:
- Delivered climate awareness training sessions for prominent clients such as a Southeast Asian sovereign wealth fund and an Asia-Pacific banking company, overseeing the curation and development of training content and materials.
- Orchestrated ESG awareness training sessions for esteemed clients including an Asian pension fund, an Asian banking company, and an Asian PE fund, overseeing the curation and development of training content and materials.
- Spearheaded training sessions, content curation, and material development for educating over 50 asset managers on the impact of sustainability on the investment landscape.
- Led train-the-trainer sessions for consultants, focusing on climate awareness and ESG awareness training methodologies.
- Provided strategic support to an Asian PE fund, facilitating ESG implementation and integration for two key portfolio companies. Crafted tailored sustainability frameworks and approaches, resulting in both companies securing listings on sustainability indices in their inaugural attempts.
- Collaborated with an Asian sovereign wealth fund to devise their Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) roadmap. Conducted in-depth assessments of climate risk and opportunity exposure across priority sectors, informing strategic investment decisions.
- Worked closely with an Asian pension fund to establish their sustainable investment frameowork and policy, detailing out their guiding principles and approach. Subsequently, shaped their climate and labour issue policies where key sub-issues were defined and the fund’s expectations for investee companies were outlined, driving sustainable investment practices.
- Spearheaded the development of a holistic sustainability framework for an Asian sovereign wealth fund, encompassing enterprise sustainability and sustainable investing strategies. Overseeing target setting, materiality assessments, ESG integration, and governance structures, laying the groundwork for comprehensive sustainability initiatives.
- Engaged with Southeast Asian financial regulators to assess the viability of a regional carbon market. Provided expert counsel on potential pathways for regional collaboration, shaping the future of carbon market initiatives in the ASEAN region.
- Advised a major global renewables company on crafting a robust socio-economic measurement framework and tool to effectively evaluate key projects, emphasising broader environmental and social impacts on surrounding communities, ensuring responsible and sustainable project development.
